Privacy Policy

This site belongs to Bill Enright (billenrightwebdev.com). I keep things simple. I collect the small amount of info I need to run the site and call people back. I don't sell your info. I don't run ad trackers.

What I collect

Contact form. If you send me your business idea and phone number, I get that in an email so I can call you. That's the only reason I use it.

Booking and quote forms. If you use one of those forms, I get the name, email, and details you typed. I use them to reply to you.

Basic visit info. Like almost every website, the server sees your IP address, rough location (city level), device type, and the page that sent you here. When someone opens one of my articles, I get a notification with that info so I know the article was read. I can't identify you by name from it.

Writing tools. If you paste text into a tool on this site (like Draftsmith), that text is sent to an AI model to do the rewrite and the result comes back to you. I don't save your drafts. Don't paste passwords or private records into it.

Analytics. I use Vercel Analytics for anonymous page-view counts. It doesn't use cookies and it doesn't track you across other sites.

Cookies

This site sets one small first-party cookie so I can tell when a reader comes back. It holds a random ID, nothing personal. There's also a cookie that remembers your accept-or-decline choice on the cookie banner. If you decline, the site works exactly the same and the visitor cookie is removed.

Who touches the data

A few services help run this site: Vercel hosts it, Resend delivers the email notifications to me, Upstash powers the rate limiting that blocks spam, and Google Sheets can hold a backup copy of form submissions. The AI rewriting tool sends your pasted text to the model provider to process it. Each of these only handles what it needs to do its job. Nobody gets your info for advertising, and I never sell it to anyone.

How long I keep it

Form submissions land in my email inbox and stay there until I clear them out. If you want your info deleted, email me and I'll remove it.

Your choices

You can decline cookies in the banner. You can ask me what info I have about you, ask me to delete it, or ask me to stop contacting you. Email billenright.webdev@gmail.com and I'll handle it, usually same day.

Kids

This site is for business owners and adults. It's not directed at children under 13 and I don't knowingly collect their info.

Changes

If I change how this site handles info, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
